NCVF Rules of Play

Welcome to the 2016-2017 NCVF season from the NCVF Rules Committee

The primary duty of the Rules committee is to provide guidance and interpretations of the playing

rules which will be used in the upcoming season.  Additionally, the committee provides recommendations to the NCVF Directors for changes, modification, and alterations to the playing rules for their consideration and approval.

All rule interpretations, such as:

  • Playing with 5 players and a "ghost player";
  • Uniform requirements;
  • Others as applicable.

are geared toward the National Championship.

It is our hope that all NCVF competitions across the country will use the same rules and reduce the

number of issues arising at the National Championship.

This season we would like to publish newsletters to the NCVF website every 2-4 weeks as needed. The newsletter would contain interpretations, clarifications and other important information.

Hope to see you in Kansas City, MO this April. Thank you and have a great season,

Ric Washburn / Dan Kitchel / Ray Mink
